Despite a difficult hiring market, supply chain challenges and the ongoing pandemic, Staff Management | SMX and SIMOS Solutions continue to connect more people with work by meeting them where they are and when they want to interact – and they are being recognized for those efforts. The staffing firms were named finalists in both the Innovation in HR Technology and Recruitment Team of the Year categories in the upcoming HRO Today Association 2021 Awards.
In the Innovation in HR Technology category, the firms were recognized for their success with their proprietary Stafftrack technology, including the new Stafftrack mobile app launched in late 2020. The companies have seen not only a more engaged workforce, but positive responses from customers, who labeled the Stafftrack associate mobile app a game-changer thanks to its many self-service options for associates, including viewing pay and schedules, picking up shifts, referring other workers and more. In early 2021, the companies introduced monthly associate pulse surveys through the app. These surveys helped boost engagement by asking associates for ongoing feedback to make sure that they are having a positive experience with their day-to-day work and provide feedback on potential improvements.
In the Recruitment Team of the Year category, the firms’ innovative, grassroots recruiting efforts earned recognition as they found new and successful ways to interview and hire during the pandemic and a tough labor market. The companies infused creativity into hiring events and practices in an uncommon hiring market. Creative and safe hiring practices combined with Stafftrack and community events helped the companies hire more than 70,000 people in 2020, while also enabling 25,000 downloads of the Stafftrack mobile app. That work continued into 2021, where the companies continued to find creative ways to hire, helping to connect people with work and to keep the supply chain moving.
Congratulations to Staff Management | SMX and SIMOS Solutions on these nominations. More than 80 companies were nominated across nine categories. The winners will be selected at a virtual awards reception on Nov. 17, the HRO Today Association said in its press release announcing the winners.
