Helping people get back on their feet has always been important, but even more so now after the impact of the pandemic.
A local organization, Anchor Lancaster, provides hot breakfasts and warm showers to residents who are struggling in the town of Lancaster, PA.
Our local SIMOS team wanted to find a way to contribute to this important cause and get more involved with the local community. The team decided to volunteer and help out during their breakfast service. While there, we were able to schedule 5 interviews with participants interested in getting back to work.
“It was a wonderful experience, and I can’t wait to come back again soon” said Ashley Young, a SIMOS recruiter at the Lancaster, PA office.
