Beginning January 1, 2023, all employers who have 35 or more employees in the state of Tennessee will be required to E-verify their workers and maintain case results.

The state of Tennessee previously had an E-Verify law in place for 50 or more employees and this is an expansion of that law to include more employers in the state.

E-Verify is a federal electronic database intended to aid employers in confirming the documentation provided by new hires to establish lawful employment eligibility is valid.

Worried about this new compliance regulation? A trusted staffing partner can help.

At Staff Management | SMX and SIMOS Solutions, we implement E-Verify on a national level, regardless of state law.

We are also a member of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement IMAGE Program.

IMAGE is a formal membership certification program that focuses on exceptional employers that can effect change within their industry or region. To become a member, you must serve as an example and role model in the business community, while highlighting the importance and viability of immigration compliance.

In fact, we are the only staffing provider to attain charter membership in the program. Our decade-long partnership with IMAGE offers your organization the greatest risk mitigation and brand protection available in employment verification.

Our compliance programs are solid and have been in place for years, giving you peace of mind and assurances, regardless of compliance changes.

Partner with a trusted compliance partner like Staff Management | SMX and SIMOS Solutions to ensure your standards comply with this new Tennessee state law.
